Chapter 3

Several adventurers had gathered in the Town of Nesme. They had responded to calls for help to defend the town from a Draconian threat. Eventually these adventurers decided to take the fight to the dragon, so to speak. After a long, harsh trek, to an undisclosed location, fighting storms, orcs, kobolds, deomans and worse, they arrived at the entrance to Wu"Latar’s lair.

Upon entering the lair they ell for several Illusions and immediately came under hard pressed attacks from the defends of Wu’Latar’s upper levels. THe party was mangled. During their retreat to heal, a cleric near the back of the party decided to cast a modified flame strike spell, known as a lateral flame strike (See Websters for: bad ass flamethrower). The results of this were predictable. Two party members survived it, The cleric, who’s name is forgotten to history, (thank goodness) and Spike, who killed the cleric shortly there after for whiping out the other 7 party members.

This pretty much ended this quest.

Wu’Latar info:

The great dragon that was battled by the Crystal Dragon over Miribar is an ancient red female dragon known to be lairing in the spine of the earth. She is rumored to be insane and known as Wu’Latar. Her specific insanity is believed to be a form of dragon senility. She has been heard to scream “My children, you stole my children!” During recent fly overs of Miribar, Waterdeep and Luskan. During a recent full on attack of Neverwinter, she was seen to target schools, orphanages and homes with children screaming, in common, “If you take my Children, I will destroy yours!”

Her recent attack, resulting in 57 dead, mostly children, and over 650 wounded, has upp’ed the ante for most of the local powers of good. Several areas are actively recruiting teams to deal with this increasing threat.
